Hi Kenneth!

There are many beautiful models, so it tingles in the fingers to get started with building models yourself, and not just work with the steam engines that are found at Nyvang. So I have started looking at English EBAY for models or kits, but then I must also have a small cutter and lathe, possibly also from England, as the transport costs nothing

Thanks for the nice words you just say if I can help with anything.

Hi Kenneth!

Really good and useful website you have made. I've found the origin of my first machine, which I got for Christmas 1956. It turned out to be an EPD from East Germany.

So thank you for your amazing website.

:) hello Kenneth. wonderfull site this, many fantastic engines. I hope you also invite Norwegians into your group. Not many Norwegian sites either for this kind of hobby. I am in the very beginning of my engine collecting career, and in this site point of view, your site is a great inspiration this early on. I hope to be able to tribute in the time ahead. many thank you's. The norwegian named Knut :)

Hello Darthvader Bob,

Thank you for the kind words. PREFO tools were made in the defunct DDR republic and were originally made as educational aids for technical teaching. They are larger in scale than the EKT range and are made of very sturdy bakelite. Not much information is out there about them and even less are the tools themselves as they are very desirable to collectors and sell for high prices on ebay or wherever they surface. Hold on to the ones you have ;-)

hello benchmark thank you for my welcome into the forum,i have looked at your collection before and think its great to have people like you showing the way.your collection of tenko/langes tools is one of the reasons im going to collect a workshop of my own,i have four ekt tools plus a line shaft without its base and all so 3 prefo tools plus a line shaft.i think i wll try and get more infomatio on the prefo tools as far as i can gather there are woodworking tols and four metal working tools but i think they double up twice the drill and the lathe.i have seen a base do you if this is correct.thank you once agian bob[darthvader]

Thanks Kenneth for your help. I am really impressed by the wonderful collection you show in photos and videos. Watching the D32 makes my mouth water. I am really interested in getting hold of one of these, but they are so rare and so very expensive. I saw one go off on eBay last week for $1200. If anyone has one that they will part with at a reasonable price, or know where one might be that can be bought at a reasonable price, please let me know.

I am a senior citizen and have just recently started in this my childhood dream hobby. I currently have four Wilesco stationary engines including the D 22, and three Wilesco traction models. I run them mostly on air in my basement, but occasionally fire them for grandchildren and friends.

I am located in North Carolina in the USA. We are near the East coast.

Nice site. I will be sure and register, and keep watching. Thanks again, Jim

You have a great collection of steam engines and accessories

I really like the KM vertical engine, is this a Danish made steam engine ?

And my favourite is the EKT accessories now this is very nice

Well done on some fantastic steam toys.

Cheers
